- Well what can I say, I was raised in South West Louisiana where I became a carpenter and worked as a home builder for 18 yrs. I then went to work for PPG Ind. and worked there for 28 yrs. I retired at age 62 in October of 2003. I have to credit my Union, the I.A.M.-A.W. and our negotiating Committee for a reasonable retirement, plan. Then moved to Southern Ohio, I chose this location mostly because of the country! At differemt times of the year, the view of the countryside will bring tears to your eyes!
