As I was out on the purgola drinking my second cup of coffee, I noticed the pear tree close to the house. It is full of pears but the one next to it only has maybe a half dozen, I wonder why? So I went in and got the camera and took a few shots and thought I would share them with you.
The tree has so many pears on it that it is so distorted from their weight! You can see the shadow of the other tree, slim and trim!
This shot is the very top of the tree and you can seewhat the weight of the pears are doing to it!
They are in clusters like this all over the tree.
Some of the limbs are almost touching the ground.I told Jo we might have to prop the limbs up so they don’t break!!

The photos are great. and maybe just maybe you will have to prop up the branches. My uncle Pat had to do that with his trees.

Your projects as as many as ours are. When I had my New Mexico Nurseryman (woman)s lisence I would have recommended that you take a lot of the fruit off your tree to keep branchs from breaking. But I don't have it any more and neither do I have any fruit on my trees at all, so I feel you are lucky and wish you could send me some. I have apples, cherries, grapes, and all the blossoms froze in a late freeze. Of course the birds usually get a lot too. Good luck with the pears.
